The course covers laws and fundamentals of traffic safety, enforcement, engineering, techniques in vehicular and pedestrian direction and control, techniques in the preparation of selective enforcement plans and policies for special and emergency traffic situations; methods and procedures in the use of hand signals and electronic signal lights; techniques in accident investigation; determination of reaction time and break-in-time, and application of scientific aids in hit-and-run cases. Likewise, it focuses on basic concepts, principles and safety tips on driving.
